Final Fantasy XIII is on 2nd place on the 30th of June - 6th of July "Famitsu Readers Most Wanted Games" list. Final Fantasy Versus 13 has gone up one place from number 17 to number 18...
The July issue of Official Playstation Magazine featured another english article written up on, and covering the Fabula Nova Crystallis compilation series. Nothing new covered but it shows that the enlish are getting excited about the game too.
Two scans from the July issue of the Play magazine have been uploaded. It tells us about what has been showed in May's E3 conference. Although not much information that is new is revealed, you can see that it is in english. Its basically a clear overview of whats happening in the ffxiii series/compilation.
In the most recent issue of Hobby Japan, (July) there are new images of the FFXIII heroine sculpture - as well as new sculptures of KH2, FFXII, and Valkyrie Profile 2. You can find each of these scans located to the right.
Some more facts about FINAL FANTASY XIII was stated in the new Gaimaga (previously Dori-maga) magazine, they are mainly about expected release dates and when the scenario is finished etc...

May 17, 2006 - The latest issue of Famitsu has a lengthy update on the new Final Fantasy XIII series, Square Enix's big E3 surprise for PlayStation 3 and mobile. While most of the article is nothing more than speculation based off the contents of the main FFXIII E3 trailer (seen in our media section below), we were able to pick up a few intriguing details through an interview with the development staff...
In this months Famitsu magazine, we have statements made via Square Enix confirming that Final Fantasy Versus XIII will not feature online elements of play and that online play as a whole will not be a focus to Final Fantasy XIII. Square Enix have now added all the newly announced titles in Fabula Nova Crystallis, to their E3 website. These web pages have been added on both the Japan and US Square Enix sites. On the Japan website is the incredible trailer of Final Fantasy XIII, shown at E3...
They are only photographs of poor quality, but one either will not deprive oneself any: the next number of the Japanese magazine Shônen Jump spreads out over paper the first information of the project Fabula Nova Crystallis.

At Square Enix's press conference at E3 in Los Angeles, the company officially announced Final Fantasy XIII for the PlayStation 3. Square Enix then proceeded to show a trailer from the game, in which a female protagonist is seen flying around a city.
