alongside FINAL FANTASY XIII on the PlayStation 3 system.
When coupled with FINAL FANTASY XIII, FINAL FANTASY Versus XIII completes
the core of the FABULA NOVA CRYSTALLIS Project.

Story
Verses XIII (pronounced "Vehrsas" in Latin meaning " A change of direction"
and "Verses" in a English sense as well. It appears it is one of the many
games that will be brought out amongst the Final Fantasy XIII Saga. The game
features a dark spikey blue haired man with great power and is said to be a
dark tragedy.
According o the creators Verses was inspired from Shakespeare's Play
"Hamlet". I takes place in a royal palace which the main character is a
member of, in the last city that searches for the "Crystals". The setting is
similar to ours now, but outside the city remains war as the Barbarians
continue in their struggle to fight against the city and its occupants to
gain control of the Crystals.
Versus' theme is all about "friendship", "bonding" and "sleep", and Nomura
warns that this game will be the most dark and tragic of all Final Fantasy's
and jokes that you will still be crying over it a week after completing the
game! However it is not intended to be "a tragedy for tragedy's sake" and
certainly does not wish for people to finish the game without excitement.
