Items are objects you collect either in battle, given to your party by other
non playable characters, found in various places in villages and towns and can
be bought from shop. You can use them in battle or on the main menu to cure
statuses or learn abilities. Basically they will aid you in our journey. You can
hold a maximum of 100 of each item. to view them select "Item" from the main
menu.
You can obtain items by:
- Winning Battles
- Stealing them in battle
- Gaining after a battle
- Buying them
- Finding them
- Being given them
- Refining them
Using Items:
In order to use items you will need to have a GF with the ability "Item"
learned. then junction that GF to the character and enable the ability.
Refining Items:
Most items can be refined into better items. This is done outside of battle. For
example: "Spd Up" can be used to increase a character's Spd parameter by 1.
However if you collect 2 Spd Ups then you can refine them into a Spd-J Scroll.
When used this will make the GF learn the ability Spd-J. 10 Spd-J scrolls can be
refined into 1 Jet Engine, which will allow the GF to learn Speed+20%. There are
lots of things to refine, keep checking your abilities as you will always gain
new items.
