Zack |

| About: |
A man who would one day become one of Shinra's
strongest 1st Class SOLDIERs, Zack is from the town of Gongaga. His
skills in combat are excellent, he is taught by his tutor; Angeal, and
looks up to him, the same way Cloud looks up to Zack. He is both
friends with Cloud and the fellow members of SOLDIER. He hates
killing, despite his expertise, he tends to focus on saving people,
and flirting with women more than his job. Maybe its his outgoing,
good nature that Cloud inherits throughout Final Fantasy VII.

Angeal |

| Angeal works in SOLDIER along side Zack, hes is
the senior of him, his mentor. He not only menters Zack but the other
SOLDIERS as well and is on excellent terms with his fellow SOLDIER
Sephiroth. Angeal carries the legendary Buster Sword, that eventually
gets past down to zack and then Cloud throughout the events of the
game and Final Fantasy VII.It was recently revealed in the TGS '06
trailer for Crisis Core that he bears two white wings on his back.
Though this seems to cause him some internal conflict as he considers
it the trait of a monster, Zack instead suggests that they are "the
wings of an angel". He is later seen talking to Zack, asking Zack to
fight alongside him, saying "Our enemies are all those who torment the
Planet." Whether or not these genetic anomalies are related to
Sephiroth and Genesis (who each bear one black wing, Sephiroth's
positioned on his right and Genesis' on his left), or Jenova and the
Cetra, is still unknown. |

Aerith |

Aerith, pursued by the Shinra for experiments
due to her being the last known survivor of the Cetra (Ancients). She
is in hiding, and constantly at haste from the Corporation. She has a
relationship with Zack, which is explained in his last letter before
he leaves Gongaga with SOLDIER. Aerith makes some kind of promise to
Zack before he leaves for his mission, but what that promise is, we
are not told yet.

Cloud |

| About: |
Cloud is an MP within the Shinra Army. He was
unable to make it into SOLDIER, but became very close friends with
Zack and looks up to both him and Sephiroth. He accompanies both of
them to the incident in Nibleheim which is explained in the trailer to
Crisis Core also known as "Last Order". Zack dies at the hands of
Sephiroth, and Cloud Takes revenge.

Shinra's Ultimate SOLDIER, his superior
knowledge of the ancients and his extreme power make him a General in
the Shinra Army. He is an elitist, a master of the sword. After
uncovering strange, and somewhat twisted experiments that were done on
him, he disappears to Nibleheim, where he slowly loses his sanity, and
the events of Final Fantasy VII occur.

Genesis |

| About: |
An enigmatic man, he is a member of the Deepground
Soldiers. His origin lies as a experiment to Sephiroth, almost a "mark
1" to him. He carries a black wing on his side, much like Sephiroth
and in comparison to Angeal. He is also known as "G" and is tied with
a dark secret of The Shinra corporation known as "Project Genesis".

Tseng |

| About: |
Tseng is a member of the Turks. Players of
Final Fantasy VII will remember him as the leader, he carries his
usual phone with him, and is dressed in business attire. Tseng was in
charge of cleaning up the Nibleheim incident as well as rescuing and
later (in Final Fantasy VII) hunting down Zack and Cloud.
