This section tells you the information you need to get a certain rank on each mission. It's basically a ranking system basics page, it tells you what each category means, and how many points you get for certain things being achieved. The actual data sets for each mission can be found on the other ranking pages.

Chapter Rankings
Category What it means
Targets Destroyed Total Number of enemies killed during the chapter
Accuracy Rate Percentage of shots fired that hits their mark.
Damage Sustained Amount of HP loss in the Chapter.
Critical Hits Number of shots that hit an enemies weak point and caused a critical hit (shown in red)
Kill Chains Total Number of enemies killed during a kill chain.                  
Items Used Number of consumable items in a Chapter.
Magic Casted Number of Materia Shots fired in a Chapter.
Mako Collected Total Number of Mako points stepped on and collected during the Chapter
Times Ko'd Number of times you have received a KO.
Time Expired Total Time expired during the Chapter (Amount needed)

Points are given for ranks, the more points you have the better the overall rank at the end of the mission it will give you. Each category above will give you a rank, they will then be converted to points and how many points you get, determines the overall rank you will achieve for the mission.
