Contain	Freeze, Break, Tornado and Flare	In Mideel Village, feed boy's Chocobo some greens from the Chocobo Sage.

Earth	Quake1, Quake2 and Quake3	Buy in Kalm and Costa del Sol.

Transform	Mini and Toad	Buyable at many locations.

Double Cut	Underwater Shinra plane.
Enemy Skill	Shinra Building (the spot where Nanaki joins you).
Manipulate	Cait Sith has it when he joins You.
Master Command	Northern Crater.
Mimic	Cave near Wutai.
Morph	Temple of the Ancients.
Sense	Red XIII has it when he joins You. Can be bought everywhere.
Slash All	Ancient Forest.
Steal	After boss fight in Wall Market sewer.
Throw	Yuffie has it when she joins You.
W-Item	Midgar Sector 8 subway.

W-Summon	Buy at Battle Square for 64,000 battle points (Gold Saucer).

HP Plus	Buy at Cosmo Canyon and Mideel.
HP <-> MP	Materia Cave near North Corel.
Luck Plus	Temple of the Ancients.
Long Range	Mythril Mine.
Magic Plus	Cosmo Canyon.
MP Plus	Buy at Cosmo Canyon and Mideel.
Pre Emptive	Win at Wonder Square (Gold Saucer).
Speed Plus	Battle Square for 4000 Battle Points (Gold Saucer).
Mega-All	Northern Crater.
Exp Plus	Win at Wonder Square (Gold Saucer).
Underwater	Morph Ghost Ship in Underwater Reactor in Junon. Give item to old man traveler in Kalm and you get Underwater Materia.

Added Steal	Flaming caves in Wutai.
Counter	Northern Crater.
Elemental	Nibleheim
All	Found Everywhere.
Final Attack	Obtained after Special battle at the Battle Square. You must've obtained both Omnislash and W-summon first (Gold Saucer).
HP Absorb	Wutai Cat House.
MP Absorb	Wutai Item Shop.
Magic Counter	Chocobo Racing Gift.
Counter	Final Dungeon/Southern Cave.
MP Turbo	Whirlwind Maze.
Quadra Magic	Cave near Mideel (Chocobo required).
Sneak Attack	Win at Chocobo Square (Gold Saucer).

Summon Materia:
Alexander	Holy Judgement	Found at Ice Gate.
Bahamut	Mega Flare	After defeating the dragon in Ancient Temple.
Neo Bahamut	Giga Flare	Whirlwind Maze.
Bahamut Zero	Terra Flare	Obtain both Bahamut and Neo-Bahamut and head to Bugenhagen's observatory.
Choco/mog	Death Blow	Chocobo Ranch (talk to the Chocobos).
Hades	Black Cauldron	Underwater Shinra Plane.
Ifrit	Hell Fire	After Jenova-Birth fight.
Knights of the Round	Ultimate End	Round island (go to Chocobo section for more info).
Kjata	Tri-Disaster	Sleeping Forest.
Leviathan	Tidal Wave	After defeating Yuffie's father.
Odin	Atom edge	Safe in Shinra mansion, input the code: 36,10,59,97 (Nibleheim).
Phoenix	Resurrect	You obtain it after Fort Condor mini-game.
Ramuh	Judgement Bolt	Chocobo Races (right after Cloud gets out of prison).
