The website first started as Zidanesff9 kingdom which was unbelievably rubbish. It had 3 pages each with a different background colour. There were only 3 pages because I only then just managed tom do hyperlinks. lol. This was in the year 2000.
After that I decided to change the name to lukesffobsession. This was much better as it suited the website more. I always aimed to write alot of content but never got round to it due to new games coming out, sport, drawing and chilling with my friends. Lukesffobsession was hosted with BTinternet firstly because I got it free due to my dad working for BT!!. Anyway I had many different final fantasy layouts, some of which I downloaded from Oritsuru, others I made. Be sure to check out the past layouts section which shows all the ones I have used.
Over the years the site changed from time to time ranging from kingdom hearts content to final fantasy content and then changing for a while to metal gear solid content. I then got very fed up of the site due to the fact it wasn't getting any hits and that I couldn't be assed to write content. All I was happy with was doing layouts.( if you want a layout made, I will make it for you but they will cost £30 and I do accept Paypal. Visit the "Contact" page for more details. I only charge as it takes time to do layouts and I have a very busy life with all the events and my GCSE's coming up).
Right carrying on, the site was then hosted by Greg (FFSynthesis) who offered me this domain. The advantages were that I received 2 mysql databases for forums an Topsites. I am still very happy with this domain and am not looking to change. The site in 2005 quite recently, actually became a Xenosaga site, but again, I got sidetracked and never bothered writing content .
Finally Final Fantasy Advent Children came out and I like many other people out there am obsessed with it. I thought why not make a Final Fantasy Compilation website based on all things relating to final fantasy VII. So here we go a Final Fantasy site that covers all the events relating to FFVII.
The site is now in it's current state. It covers all Final Fantasy Games, movies, merchandise, novels and more. The layout has gotten better by the years and is now coded into XHTML and CSS with some javascripting. As of yet, it isn't tableless, but
will be eventually. The new layout is more aesthetically pleasing than it's predecessors, and with its better coding and SEO it should do well. |
